Just want to update and say that it appears that the $25 sign up bonus is officially over. You can still sign up for a free RME account (sign up is in the right tool bar) but your account will not be credited with the $25 sign up bonus.
Are you sick of all the fees that paypal has? Don’t be afraid to give Paypal the boot. Now there is a better alternative: Revolution Money Exchange (RME).
There are absolutely no fees to send or receive money, there are no sign up fees. And even better? If you sign up before the promotion is over you get $25 deposited into your account just for signing up (HINT: If your spouse signs up too that is $50)! Also, for every friend you refer to RME you get $10! There’s no catch to the money at all. You sign up and then voila, it’s there. You can use the money anywhere on the internet that accepts RME payments or you can connect your regular bank account to your RME account and transfer the money to your bank account (also free).
Unlike Paypal, RME is a real bank account albeit only an online one. It is FDIC insured and as such you need to disclose your SSN to sign up. So what’s the catch? Why would someone go to all the length to set up a free money exchange service and give such large incentives for joining? It is on the FAQ’s on their site but basically they are not intending to and know they won’t make any money off of RME. RME exists basically as free advertising and a lure to get people to sign up for their credit card which is where all their money will be made. Obviously there is no obligation to sign up for their credit card but you can bet you’ll receive an offer for one.
All in all, I’m impressed. Within minutes of signing up my husband and I had $50 between the two of us to spend any which way we liked. Awesome.
I have a link to RME on the sidebar. I would love it sooooooo much if you would use that link to sign up for RME because then I will get the $10 referral credit and it will go to a good cause…the upcoming baby (specifically a car seat and diapers). LOL. Um yes, that is my shameless attempt to beg $10 from you. Hey, what is there to loose? You can sign up for the account and if you decide not to ever use it again you still got a free $25.
P.S. Let me know if you need help hooking up your bank account to your RME account so that you can just deposit your money into your bank account. Also, I can convert RME funds to Paypal or visa versa for a small fee. Just email me (sidebar).

Hey…I did it :) I already got $25 too :) I sure trust you a lot! Did you get the $10 for referring?? let me know!
I just checked. Yep, it’s there! Thanks sooooo much.
I signed up too – hope you get your $10!
Hi – love your blog!! I’m planning to sign up for RME and read the rest of your blog. Don’t forget – there’s no need for apostrophes if a word is simply plural (fee’s should be fees, for example) – I want to keep reading, but grammatical mishaps like this are a huge turn-off ;)
CeCe,
I am laughing so hard right now. Why? Because my friend Emeth is here and she was reading my most recent post on formula vs breastmilk and found several grammatical errors. So within the last 3 minutes I’ve had two people point out to me the error of my writing ways. :) I will be the first to admit that I am AWFUL with punctuation. I put commas and apostrophes where they don’t belong among numerous run on sentences and what have you. Yes, I need help. Please keep reading and please feel free to correct my grammar. But I am pregnant so please don’t make me cry. LOL. I will keep working at it though I am not making any promises, I think my children are sucking my brains out.
Jessica
LOL! Children do suck our brains out, don’t they?! I’m loving your research on red dye – this is how I found you. My daughter is the same age as yours and she recently had some crazy spells after consuming that poison. I’m taking it out of her diet ASAP (won’t be hard bc we normally have a whole-foods, all-natural diet, but the occasional icky thing slips in!)
I’m going to bookmark you and check back often! I love that I’ve found a mother I can relate to!! (But I’m not pregnant again – yet!)
I never had a problem with RME yet. You can use RME with the Abundant Living System providing the inviter accepts RME. I love RME despite the 2500 monthly limit. It’s not a bad thing to actually have a limit in place, as I have heard horror stories from those who had been fxxked from using paypal and how some people had thousands of dollars stolen from paypal via false complaints from buyers on sites like ebay and such.
