Organic Wool Babylegs Giveaway

Organic Wool Babylegs Giveaway!

I discovered Babylegs when Camden was a toddler and they were fantastic for potty training and keeping her legs warm without having to wear pants. She is nearly 4 now and loves to wear them with a skirt in the winter to stay warm and they are much easier then her trying to put back on her own tights. People have found all sorts of inventive ways to use Babylegs. Now that we practice Elimination Communication with Garrett they come in handy in keeping his little legs warm while allowing easy access to take him to the potty.

To enter the giveaway and win the warm and cozy Organic Wool Babylegs pictured above simply leave a comment below answering one (or both) of the following questions:

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?” or “What is a product you would like to see reviewed on the site?”

The giveaway will end next Thursday (Nov 20th) at 11:59pm pacific standard time. The winner will be chosen at random and announced on Friday the 21st. The winner will have 72 hours from the announcement to contact me to collect their prize. If the prize is not collected another random winner will be chosen. I recommend that you subscribe to the blog to make sure you don’t miss the announcement.

Good Luck!

EDIT:

Whoops, I forgot to answer the questions myself which is what I intend to do with all of the giveaways. Ok, here goes. We do celebrate Christmas and we always try to get a head start. Last year we did a really good job and got almost all handmade things purchased directly from the families that made them. I loved it. This year is a bit different and I don’t think it will work out to be all handmade, sadly. I found an awesome wooden dollhouse for Camden off of Craigslist this summer for a super cheap price and that is hiding at my MIL’s house. I also bought her a tea set off craigslist but she wound up getting one for her Birthday (a cuter one that she got to paint herself) so we’ll resell it on craigslist. The Christmas present I am excited about is that I am making both of the girls Doctor Kits out of real items. I found real stethoscopes in pink and lavender on amazon for only $4/ea! I am going to sew up some drawstring bags for them to keep the items in. I will post pictures when I finish them. Also, today I found Camdens Birthday present (her Birthday is Christmas Eve) at a consignment shop. I found a really nice quality ballet leotard and some ballet slippers and she will be SO excited to have them. She is obsessed with ballet and begs to take ballet lessons. She pretends to do ballet all around the house. I think I’m going to make her wait another year though before we do actual lessons. I am so stuck on Mikayla. She is almost 9 and the only hints she’s given me is that she wants stuff for a Baby Alive doll that she has at her moms house. I am making her a doctor kit too and other than arts & crafts stuff I’m stuck. I bought her a bunch of books last year but she is not really into reading yet.

As far as products I’d like to see reviewed? Everything. I am having so much fun with this. By the way there are about a dozen products currently in the process of being reviewed or on their way so please be patient. Some fun stuff is coming and I can’t wait to share it with you guys. The ultimate thing to review would be a Honda Odyssey. Anyone? Anyone? LOLOL. Totally joking.

I’ve done a little shopping so far. I’m anxious to get it all done, but must wait a little longer. I shopped for my nephew right away, and for my mom. How sad is it that I have gifts for my nephew and not my own son! Every time I buy something for my son, I give it to him right away!
I bought myself some gifts-some newborn/small cloth diapers for the next baby whenever he/she arrives!

  2. cindy · November 20, 2008

No, I have not even started shopping! Some people I know have already finished though. I need to get on it…!
I would love to see a review of the different baby holders/slings/wraps ect.
I have a heart to heart sling and like it a lot but am interested in getting another. Possibly one that works on the back so that I don’t have to be reaching around my little chunk all the time.

The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?

Started it, almost done, I start right after christmas for the next christmas so I generally get really good deals!

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?”

Haven’t even started yet! I will probably be out shopping the day before Christmas Eve. There have been years that I actually had to stop on the way to our Family Party to pick up a last minute gift. I’ve got the market cornered when it comes to procrastination.

  5. Brianne · November 20, 2008

I’ve started my shopping. What that really means is that I’m pretty much finished with all of the gifts that I will be making. Now I need to hit the stores.

I’m excited that you’re doing giveaways now! :-)

  6. Stephany · November 20, 2008

“What is a product you would like to see reviewed on the site?”

Since I noticed some posts about handmade natural toys on your blog I thought that you might be interested in reviewing one of the kits Kathryn Sheehan has at The Silver Penny.

I have made the Gnome House although around here it is called a hobbit hole. I have the Fairy Market and the Gnome Garden in the craft closet to put together as holiday gifts.

These kits are definitely for older kids that don’t put little pieces in their mouths but my “baby” just turned four so that is where we are right now.

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?”

I haven’t much of a start on holiday gifts, I am afraid. I have a list and lots of things around here for supplies, I just need to get busy making stuff. We are really trying to do mostly handmade gifts this year! Does anyone else find that this is more difficult to do for the men on your list than it is for women and children?

I did order some great toymaking kits that I HAVE to get started on. That’s hard to do when you are trying to be sneaky. My husband will have to get the little guys out of the house so that I have some uninterrupted crafting time.

  8. Elizabeth M. · November 20, 2008

I don’t have too much to do but I just started yesterday. I’m sure I’ll be done by the beginning of December other than stocking stuffers.

It would be great to see something by Boon reviewed on the site!

  9. Judith · November 19, 2008

Haven’t started Christmas shopping yet, I’m still working on getting ready for thanksgiving. I have a huge family and I told them I would bring four pumpkin pies, a chocolate cake, brownies, and Honduran pickled vegetables. Everything is completely made from scratch down to grinding the wheat and baking pumpkins. Did I mention I’m 7 months pregnant? Yeah, so Christmas prep will definitely start after Thanksgiving.

  10. Lisa · November 19, 2008

No shopping to do; but I WANT you to review some of Mary Jane’s new chocolate bars…….
    http://shopping.maryjanesfarm.org/s.nl/sc.2/category.248/.f

Seriously, some of her products would be nice…..

    Sssssmooooooooch!!!!

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?” or “What is a product you would like to see reviewed on the site?”

I’m just about done with our christmas shopping, which is wonderful because last yr we did alot of last minute shopping & our gifts kinda sucked. LOL

A product I’d like to see reviewed on your site would be…that’s hard one. Hmmmm…..

I guess would be more things just for mama~natural things we can pamper ourselves with. You know….when we get the time lol.

  12. Cynthia Plummer · November 17, 2008

I wish I could say I had finished my shopping but I have barely started.

I haven’t read all of your site so I don’t know what to ask to be reviewed.

  13. Lili · November 17, 2008

Ugh, I haven’t done any shopping. I don’t even want to think about it.

  14. kim · November 17, 2008

I am about 90% done with Christmas shopping!!! Hooooraaaaayyy!!! I have a few gifts to buy here and there for teachers and bus drivers and a few family members, but my kids gifts are all purchased!!! Except for stocking stuffers, but those are easy, and the most fun!

    Kim

  15. Angi · November 16, 2008

Christmas shopping? Um no, haven’t even started. Every year we buy less and make more. I’ve come up with a couple things we will be buying, the older boys have figured out the new Lego sets then “need” and I just can’t make that myself. My goal is to find more things the kids can make, that they can give. We’ve been doing a lot of oragami.

  16. kaisha · November 16, 2008

I’ve finished for the most part. There are some last minute trinkets i will likely pick up, not that i need to. lol. I owuld love to see art supplies reviewed, beeswax crayons, felting wool, toddler safe/easy stuff.

    thanks

  17. KayLee · November 15, 2008

Yes! And I have a fabulous website owned by a work at home mom – the stubby pencil. AWESOME art supplies!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Mommy Bee · November 15, 2008

We live in super-rural Alaska, so we have to order everything (litereally EVERYTHING) via mail. We’ve ordered most of our stuff, although we still need a few little things. I think I’m going to ask my mom to pick them up for me though, rather than trying to order them online and then having to pay as much in shipping as the items themselves cost!!!

I’m trying to think of something I’d like to see you review…nothing comes to mind off the top of my head, but I’ll let you know if I think of anything!

  19. Mary Jenkins · November 14, 2008

We basically agreed ony to buy gifts for the wee ones this year. I have bought a couple outfits for my daughter, but no toys yet!

    quitecontrary1977@hotmail.com

  20. Leah · November 14, 2008

I am nearly done- one more small order to place and good to go :-)

I would like to see more people hear about bamboletta dolls http://www.bamboletta.com – That was one of our Christmas gifts this year and they are just amazing. The word should be spread :-)

  21. Beth · November 14, 2008

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?”

I have not started it – shhhhhhhhh! LOL

I am using Craigslist for the kids – and amazon. This Sunday there will be lots of awesome sales at JC Penny – in store and online – up to like 70% off. If you happen to live by an outlet like we do that goes up to 90%!!

“What is a product you would like to see reviewed on the site?”

I would like to see things reviewed for older children (ages 5 and up) – maybe learning things, made in USA, etc. Also – it would be great for you to keep reviewing “mom” stuff – like those bath cupcake things you had a while back.

Not sure if you can do it – but I would love to see a review on “whole”or “organic” remedies for colds, etc.

    Yay for Jessipedia!

  22. Erika · November 14, 2008

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?”

I am making all of our Christmas gifts this year (except for the exception of a few things for our children) and I haven’t begun. I have a month or so to do it and I’d like to know why I’m waiting till the last minute? Ack! We love baby legs…I have a one-year-old that can walk but prefers to crawl and in the cold winters here, our tile gets super cold! Keeps the rug burn off her knees too from the carpet.

    Love reading your blog!

  23. Kristin · November 14, 2008

Love the babylegs! I haven’t even begun my holiday shopping. I have ideas of what I want to buy and what I want to make so at least that’s a start!

  24. jessica lee #2 · November 14, 2008

christmas!!!….i love the smells…the crispness in the air….and I LOVE MAKING HOMEMADE GIFTS….now i always have great plans and end up working overtime many nights in a row just to finish a few of my grand schemes…but i love the whole process anyway……but to answer the question…..NO, i haven’t even started…..my ol’ brain is a churning with ideas and visions…but nothing has even come close to materializing…besides…it doesn’t even feel like christmas yet anyway….my hubby’s b-day is on thanksgiving day! so im still planning that…and turkey day itself….so christmas will have to wait until december actually gets here…

    and product review suggestions:
    baby hammocks
EC supplies (what i need and don’t need)
    nursing bras

  25. Holly · November 14, 2008

I started my Christmas shopping months ago. I wanted to start gathering things slowly and early so I wouldnt have to worry about it while I’m huge and ready to pop (due with #1 Christmas Eve).

  26. april · November 14, 2008

I have just started my Christmas shopping. I have quite a bit to go and need to think more about what to get my sweet hubby.

  27. Jennifer · November 14, 2008

Howdy, Just saw your site via diaperswappers! This one is definitely going on my favorites to read! :D Thanks for advertising there!

    You asked:
“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?” or “What is a product you would like to see reviewed on the site?”

Well since I just found your site, I unfortunately can’t help you there yet, but I will let you know.

As far as the holidays, well I guess you could say we have finished shopping, as we keep Hanukkah as a solely religious and family holiday — no commercialism. With Thanksgiving and my birthday being right together, three days apart this year — Dh has made his purchases. :)

I did however get some socks to make some monkeys for the baby just in case someone makes a fuss about him being left out of the holiday gift giving. ;)
    Shalom!

  28. helen · November 14, 2008

we started our holiday gifts way back in july. we have 2 cherry trees in our very small city lot yard, but they produce really well. or i should say one does! anyway, we made cherry jam for our family and friends for holiday gifts this year.

  29. Lisa · November 14, 2008

Oh dear, I have not even started shopping yet – I’m too busy preparing for baby #1 who should be making his/her appearance sometime right before Christmas! I guess I should get a move-on, eh?

  30. chandra · November 14, 2008

I’ve started using “Kumon” pre-school workbooks at home, and would like for you to review those! We started with “Let’s cut paper.” I do love a giveaway. Is it fair for someone blood related to win??? LOL. I can still comment :)
    LOVE YOU!

  31. Haley · November 14, 2008

I would love to be entered for this! I wish my Christmas list was finished, but it’s not!! I usually do not go Christmas shopping – I make all my gifts, but NO, I do not have them all finished!! I WISH! I barely have them STARTED!! =)

    Haley

  32. Tabitha · November 14, 2008

I am SO not ready for the gift part of the holidays! We always try to make small, meaningful, homemade gifts and this year it’s a challenge!

Even for the kids-they want pretty much everything. It’s hard to narrow it down to one thing that will leave a lasting impression!

  33. valarie · November 14, 2008

I have started because I’m due Dec 28th. I’m trying to be done early so I’m not dragging my huge self through crowds.

  34. Kimberly · November 14, 2008

I have not yet begun my Christmas shopping. I’m totally a LAST minute or internet shopper.

I’d love to see some Gluten-Free products reviewed!

  35. Jenn Burns · November 14, 2008

ugh holiday shopping. haven’t even started. have tenatively started a list for the kids….but no real plan of how to go about it all. ;)

  36. Megan (cakeums) · November 14, 2008

  37. holli jo · November 14, 2008

I’ve started my holiday shopping, but I’m not nearly as far along as I’d like to be, especially since I want to make a few presents.

Thanks a bunch for this giveaway. I love baby legs!

  38. Kam A · November 14, 2008

I am about halfway done with my Christmas shopping. If I were to win these Organic Wool Babylegs I would be able to cross another person off of my list though! These would make such a great gift!!

    Thank you for the giveaway!

  39. Sarah F. · November 14, 2008

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?”

I am actually almost completely finished this early for the first time in my life – the downside is that a lot of people received the same gift because I found a really good sale :)

  40. Becca · November 14, 2008

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?”

Well we are halfway done for the kids and that is it! I’m still not sure if we’re buying for adults yet! :o)

  41. Shilowe · November 14, 2008

“The Holidays are fast approaching, have you started your holiday shopping? Finished it?” or “What is a product you would like to see reviewed on the site?”

Well….in a way you could say I have my shopping done…I don’t observe the holidays. And a product I would like to see reviewed…my photography?? NO really…um….I think a new baby wearing item would be cool. Is there any new baby wearing product out there we don’t know about??

  42. journeytocrunchville · November 14, 2008

Not this time but as soon as I get a better tracking system…yes! :)

  43. Emeth Hesed · November 13, 2008

I got a Christmas tree last week! Very excited about it, as it is my first one ever.

I have presents for my brothers and Rinah got her play kitchen for a Christmas present.

Do we get an extra entry for blogging about the contest?
